“You are the light.” —Matthew 5:14-16

Jesus calls his followers to live differently. With God’s help, the students and leaders of St. Paul’s Youth Fellowship (SPYF) seek to build one another up, bring others to our community, and be the light to our generation. Join us! We look forward to seeing you.

Programs

SPYF meets on Sunday evenings during the school year. Each week, we eat dinner together and then share a discussion about faith and life, followed by prayer time. Our evening always ends with a game.

Click over to our SPYNFO (SPYF Info) page for times, locations, and current announcements. For example, keep an eye out for weeks when SPYF will not meet as usual because of a retreat or a special event!

Retreats and Events

From weekend retreats and ski trips to worship nights, a summer festival, and a hayride, our calendar includes opportunities for us to grow together through all kinds of fun and meaningful experiences.

Service Projects

Serving others is essential for developing the selfless attitude that is expected of all Christian people. This is why we are intentional about setting aside time to serve our neighbors.

Mission Trips

In addition to serving here at home, we take the opportunity each summer to travel across our region to do work in Jesus's name. The mission trip also gives us a valuable opportunity to connect with and be encouraged by Christian people from across the country. Our current favorite mission location is Mountain T.O.P., where we have spent a week during each of the last seventeen summers.

Confirmation Class

At the start of each year, a group of students embarks on a journey to explore faith more deeply alongside a group of wise and committed leaders from St. Paul’s. Confirmation class consists of three retreats and one class trip, and culminates in an opportunity to publicly claim the faith and become a full member of the St. Paul’s congregation. Students may sign up starting in ninth grade.

Unless otherwise noted, all SPYF programs and events are for students in grades 6-12.
