Small Group Opportunities
- DISCIPLE
I Bible Study is offered annually at St. Paul's. The basic 32-week
course is an introduction to the entire Bible in a small group setting.
DISCIPLE II, III, and IV are also offered.
- Jesus in
the Gospels. This intensive experience aims toward deepening discipleship
for those who have previously completed the basic DISCIPLE Bible Study
course.
- The Marriage Course by Alpha is offered each fall! If you would like to take your
marriage to the next level, this course is for you (engaged couples would also benefit from this course). Childcare and dinner are provided.

- ChristCare. This is an opportunity for an ongoing experience of study, prayer,
and support with a small group. Groups are offered at a variety of times
and locations. For assistance in finding a ChristCare group, please
contact Bill Ross.
- Beth Moore
Study for women and men (currently) meets every Tuesday from 6:30 to 9:00 pm in the Sanctuary. Leaders are Kim Helsel and Jill Plafcan.
- Salt and Light Bible Study meets Sunday morning from 9:15 to 10:15 am (ages 20's and 30's plus) Contact Donna Snyder for more information.
- Women's Bible Study meets Wednesdays at 9:30 AM in the Social Room.

- Early Morning Study Group meets at Perkins Restaurant on S.Atherton
Street on the second and fourth Tuesdays from 7-8:15 AM. Current study:
Matthew's Gospel. Leaders: Cindy Alley and Donna Snyder.
- Photography from a Spirit-Filled Point of View. See the work of the
Creator through the lens of a camera. Contact Roger
Ford for meeting times.
- Cards for Christ. Help create cards for people in need. Meets the
third Wednesday of each month at the Alley residence. Contact Cindy
Alley for more information and directions.
- Knit/Crochet Together. Create handmade items for various ministry
needs. Meets on the third Tuesday of each month at various locations.

- Women of Purpose. This women's Bible Study meets on Tuesdays at 11:30
AM at Abba Java House (Adjacent to the church; entrance on Locust Lane)

- Inspirational Book Discussion Group. Meets Mondays at 9 AM at Barnes
and Noble bookstore (near the Nittany Mall). Contact

- Growth Group. This spin-off of the Purpose Driven Life study meets
on the first and third Thursdays at noon at the Christ residence. Contact
Pastor Tom Jacobs for more
information.
- This 11-week course provides spiritual growth and new understanding
to mature Christians and seekers alike. ALPHA provides a forum for discussion
of life's most important questions. Contact Donna Snyder for more information. Leader: Matt Carlson.
- Grief Support is provided in a small group context for those who have
lost loved ones. Some social opportunities are provided as well as resources
for dealing with the special challenges of bereavement. Contact

- The Page Turners Book Club meets the third Sunday of
the month, September through May, at Panera's in State College from 4:30 to 6:30 PM. Contact: Eilene Jacobs for more information.
- Accountable Disciples. Meets for prayer support every Friday at 6:45
AM. Contact person is Gary Wiser.
- "Essence of Eve" Women's Ministry meets every Friday morning from 9:15 to 11:30 am in the Abba Java House. Leaders: Kim Helsel and Jill Plafcan.
