Kids In Mission/Service

St. Paul's Kids are encouraged to put what they have learned about Jesus into action by offering a helping hand to others. St. Paul's Kids actively support those in need!
St. Paul's Sunday School classes offer many mission opportunities. Each year kids provide new hats and mittens for Park Forest Day Nursery. They create beautiful handmade Christmas cards for inmates. The recipient of the Sunday School Lenten Mission and other mission projects varies yearly. Individual classes also do various hands-on projects such as writing to homebound church members and preparing lunches for college students.
Vacation Bible School offerings are now supporting two needy children through Compassion International.
FWFriends does a variety of service projects including small holiday gifts for housebound church members, creating items for the UMW auction and supporting specific charities such as Heifer Project International.
Each year the children support Heifer Project through a special Advent collection during 10:45am worship.
Volunteer Opportunities In Children's Missions
Children's Mission Coordinator- Do you have a heart for
missions and relate well to children? St. Paul's Children's Ministries
needs someone to seek new mission projects and coordinate existing mission
projects. We are particularly interested in including more "hands- on"
service projects.
